Description |
Triphala Plus is an Ayurvedic Rasayana - a most highly refined fruit combination known to promote long life and rejuvenation. It promotes Ojas the material equivalent of bliss, besides nourishing the mind and body and promoting overall vitality and longevity. Triphala Plus has many specific effects: It is particularly rejuvenating for the digestive tract and is a rasayana for the eyes and the skin. For most people, Triphala Plus is a mild laxative, and for that reason it is excellent for clearing toxins from the digestive system. Because Triphala is gentle, you can take it for longer periods of time, and then it has a deeply purifying effect. It goes deeper into the physiology and releases the toxins at a much deeper level - it cleanses toxins the nutrient fluid, the blood, the muscles and the fat tissues if used for a long enough time. |

Dietary & lifestyle tips |
To improve indigestion, follow Ayurvedic diet and routine to suit your personal need for Vata, Pitta & Kapha. It includes favouring light and warm foods. Avoid heavy, oily and cold foods. Make sure that your bowel movements are regular (at least once a day in the morning). Ideally, eat your heaviest meals at lunch when the digestive fire is strongest. Avoid taking a meal until the previous meal has been digested. Water or juices are fine to sip during meals. Avoid yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese and cultured butter milk at night. Take a brief walk for 10 to 15 minutes.
Avoid sleeping during the day. It is also important to do some exercise in addition to yoga at least one-half hour before meals or 1-2 hours after meals. Finally Transcendental Meditation (TM) reduces stress and improves mental clarity making it easier to follow healthy diet and life style choices. This happens in improving digestion, enhancing energy and vitality.
